Jojo and Madison decided to propose to each other at different times in different ways. Jojo always told me, jokingly but seriously, that he's always wanted to be proposed to. I proposed to Jojo on our 2nd anniversary at the Belcourt Theatre. Jojo proposed to Madison on our way to dinner at Hall's one night. He was so nervous he proposed on our front porch before we left. Our Google Home captured the whole thing.

Doing it like this fits our non-traditional approach to our nuptials. Everyone that knows and loves us knows we like to do things differently! Approaching this forever commitment in an equal way was important to us as we grow together as partners. We are looking forward to our elopement, and celebration, and for our friends and family to celebrate alongside us.
